IM: instant messages helpful if the person is online and you need to get questions and answers back and forth fast. It truly is like a conversation on the phone. This is the way a lot of people.

Today I learned was we can help people find recent newspaper articles in a few minutes.

Taging : Yes, we can do the research a head of time then when we have time help the patron

to learn how to get to the sights. The list is public so others can easil get to them once we make

them. I like the organiaing or information and catergortiaing resources with ease.

I like the idea of notices on their cell phones. Then if their out and about they can stop by the
library for their books. etc.

We use Minitex: Elm is the most use site at our library we help patron set up accounts for Elm
about once a week.

Setting up a collaboration tool would be useful for board members working on a draft of something with input from everyone and not have to meet in the same place.

I spent a lot of time online on saturday the comment that you could get caught-up in the internet and all the information at your access is dangerous.

Wiki-The fact that anyone can change or add to information is strange for me. I think the the
wikipeda is a good place to look at but not for final accurate information.

Flicker and beyond

I set up a flickr account. Whow! this could be fun. this can also help a person be creative.

I was a litte confussing at times, but will get easy with use.

Today was learing what RSS is Really Simple Syndication. I set myself up with some sites.
This will be a great way to keep up with what is happeing on the web.

I just got back to working on the program today. the video was short and easy to understand.
I am using time on a day off.
I hope to learn how to use the internet more. feel comfortable with the access to information.
